“I dropped my daughter off at a birthday party and was driving home on Milwaukee Avenue. The roads appeared clear, but there was a patch of black  ice  in  my path. I spun out at 50mph and collided head-on with an oncoming car. It was a miracle that we all survived, but I was left with severe whiplash, spinal subluxations and hypermobility. This created intense migraines and pain in both my neck and lower back. Traditional medicine offered me only pain killers and muscle relaxants which left me unable to fully live my life. Thank God chiropractic got me back on my feet, but for the next eighteen years, I needed to visit the chiropractor one or two times every week to stay on my feet...and still the pain, though less intense, was a constant companion...until I learned Reiki in 1995. Within 2 months, I noticed something was beginning to change. Within 4 months, the constant pain was gone. Within 6 months, my spine was completely healed; even the curvature in my neck had changed...and bones don't move! Or so we're told. Now when you deal with this sort of trauma and then it's simply gone, your life is profoundly changed. You KNOW there is a higher order. Profound as it was, the physical healing was simply the tip of the iceberg. Over the next decade, my emotional world has changed profoundly; my spiritual world has opened up immensely. Taking Reiki to its deepest level is life-changing."       Pamela A, CO

Animals

We have had some pretty astonishing healings with animals as well. Panda, Pamela's pup, was an amazing Austrian shepherd/collie mix who, with the help of several healing sessions a week, lived to be 20 years old. She had had, for several years, a benign tumor about the size of a large walnut on the side of her neck. Because at that time she was already 17 years old, we chose not to have it surgically removed. It was hidden by her long hair and didn't seem to bother her. It's funny; with something like that one adjusts automatically without thinking about it. We never petted her in that spot. When first introduced to the GFE in 2002,  I   noticed her    vitality   increasing.   What I    did not notice was that the tumor was dissolving. A friend came over and sat down on the floor to give Panda some attention. She said, "Hey, did you have her tumor removed?" It was completely gone, all that was left was a tiny leathery patch of scar tissue flat against her neck. Another time, I'd been out of ...

town for a couple

of weeks. Panda

was about 18 or

19 at this point.

When I returned,

I thought it was

all over for her

because she

couldn't walk well

or do stairs at all.

I had to carry her

down to the yard for her bio-breaks. I did some healing work on her every morning and every evening. Two days later, I awoke in the morning and couldn't find her. She had JUMPED through the doggie door, let herself out and  gone down the   15   stairs  into  the yard where she was happily wandering around enjoying nature. She lived quite well for another year.    Panda, IL

I don't focus on animal healing, but am always   willing to help a   friend.  Her horse , Dream, was dying of the strangles and the vet had pretty much given up hope of healing. So, on a below zero night, a fellow healer and I spent two hours in the barn running energy through Dream. Her poor head was lying in her feed bin...she couldn't lift it. The next day, we returned and Dream was a little more pro-active. He actually pushed us with his nose where he wanted the healing energy to penetrate...a wonderful bonus, because  I don't know horse   physiology. After about 45 minutes, he walked away...that was enough for now. Two days later, we returned to the barn and Dream was walking about, looking much more fit. We worked on him for about twenty minutes. He then trotted off, then turned around, came back and literally gave my colleague a KISS ON THE CHEEK! He then turned to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek as well. And then he left. That was three years ago and Dream is alive and well.    Dream, IL

Like Dream, many animals will somehow communicate just what they need. Zoey, a gorgeous chocolate Doberman, 4 or 5 years old, had cancer in her paw. I sat on the floor with her paw in my hands. She would lay it there for several minutes, then pull it away, shake it out, rest a moment and put it back in my hand. This went on for a couple of sessions a week for several weeks until Zoey was given a clean bill of health.    Zoey, IL
